The DJ GokuVerse

In 2021 we saw the release of JejerejJ's debut album 'The Act of Regression is Futile, Alas the Space-Time Continuum Will Prevail: Act I; The Insistence of Self: Self-Insistence.' Since then we have been introduced to the mysterious and musically insane DJ Goku, co-producer for the JejerejJ debut and the following EP that came in 2023.

Among JejerejJ and DJ Goku, we have been introduced to plenty of featuring artists on their tracks and some are even fully signed to Bormsen Records as part of our rosten. Below, you will find their names and something about them.

DJ Goku:

  • DJ Goku is a multi-genre multi-instrumentalist and genius who has been making music for a vast number of years - only in recent years turning to Bormsen Records to finally digitise his music.

  • Originally from Berlin, his real identity is publicly unknown at this point in time. It is said that DJ Goku is often more than one entity but this is purely speculation.

  • He began his entry with his Halloween themed EP which was realised as an instant cult classic.

  • He released a horrible album which was leaked by mistake under the radar. The leaker was fired and DJ Goku was imprisoned for his horrid crime. Undecided whether he will remain at Bormsen.

  • Whilst imprisoned, has written an apology album which local band Mungbean has recorded on his behalf.

JejerejJ:

  • A band from Cambridge, England well known for their love of the matriarchy and prog djent. Formed in the early 2000's, their debut was only released during the pandemic in 2021. This debut was met with great criticism by YouTuber Andrew Baena and his bandmates due to the insensitive remarks on the record about the COVID-19 pandemic and promoting anti-mask ideologies. The anti-mask comments made are resolved in the final track of the debut, showing that the band will begin wearing masks as they were actually unaware of COVID-19 and it's severity, but this all ultimately saw to their cancellation and departure from Bormsen Records.

  • JejerejJ frontman Adam Jejerejj passed away due to lack of precaution during the pandemic. The second release features new vocalist audition tapes.

  • It was later revealed as satire the entire time on their second release therefore it is in review whether they will re-join Bormsen Records.
